Privacy Policy

A+ RE Property Corp ("A+", "we", "us") respects your privacy and processes personal data in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC). This policy explains what we collect through this website and our agent tools, why, who we share it with, and your rights.

1. What we collect

  • Inquiries and forms. When you contact an agent, send a contact message, or ask us to list your property, we collect your name, mobile number and/or email, your message, and any property details you give (type, location, asking price). We also note the listing you asked about and, if you came through a shared link, who shared it.
  • Agent and referrer accounts. Name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), mobile, WhatsApp and Viber numbers, Messenger and Facebook links, photo, PRC license number where applicable, service areas, a short bio, and records of the listings you post and the leads you receive.
  • Usage data. A session cookie needed to run the site and keep agents logged in, basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security, and listing view counts. If Google Analytics is switched on, it collects pseudonymous usage statistics through its own cookies.
  • Saved properties. The listings you save with the heart button are stored only in your own browser, not on our servers.

We do not ask for government IDs, bank or card details through the website.

2. Why we use it

  • To answer your inquiry, arrange viewings, and help you buy, sell, rent or lease property: this is necessary to act on your request before a contract (Sec. 12(b), RA 10173).
  • To run agent accounts, show agent profiles and listings publicly, and send lead alerts. This is necessary under our arrangement with agents and referrers.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent spam and fraud, and keep records the law requires. These are our legitimate interests and legal obligations (Sec. 12(c) and (f)).
  • To send you other listings or news, but only if you ask us to or give your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.

3. Who we share it with

  • The person who posted the listing. This may be an A+ Official Agent, a Licensed Partner Agent or a Referrer (see our Terms), and the A+ office. Licensed Partner Agents and Referrers are independent. They receive your details only to answer your inquiry and must protect them.
  • Property owners, developers, banks or Pag-IBIG. Only when you go ahead with a transaction and only what is needed.
  • Service providers who process data for us: our web host, email provider, Meta (Facebook and Instagram, when listings are posted to our Page), mapping and video providers shown on listing pages, Google Analytics if enabled, and Anthropic (the optional AI caption writer). The AI caption writer receives only listing details such as type, price, location and specifications, never the personal data of people who send inquiries. Some of these providers store data outside the Philippines; we use providers that protect it to a comparable standard.
  • Authorities, when the law or a lawful order requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for up to three (3) years after our last contact with you, longer only if needed for an ongoing transaction, a legal claim, or tax and accounting rules. Agent account data is kept while the account is active and up to five (5) years after it closes. Server logs are kept for a short period for security. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.

5. How we protect it

The site uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Secrets such as social media tokens are encrypted. Each agent sees only the leads for their own listings, and only authorized A+ staff can see all records. Lead emails go through an authenticated mailbox. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach is likely to put you at risk, we will notify you and the NPC as the law requires.

6. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to object to processing, to correct inaccurate data, to have data erased or blocked, to data portability, to withdraw consent, to claim damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). To use any of these rights, email our Data Protection Officer at info@apluspropertycorp.com. We will answer within the period the law requires and may ask you to verify your identity first.

7. Cookies

We use a session cookie that the site needs to work (for example, to keep forms secure and agents logged in). Analytics cookies are used only if Google Analytics is switched on. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but the agent login will not work without the session cookie.

8. Children

The site is meant for adults dealing in real estate. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be shown on the site.
